Privacy Policy

Preschool Desk is a work app for the staff of preschools that use it. It is provided by Satyajeet Katti, Magdum Colony, Sangli Road, Ichalkaranji, Maharashtra, India ("we"). Each school ("the school") decides who may use the app and controls its own data.

What we collect and why

Name, email, mobile number	To sign you in and let colleagues contact you
Aadhaar number, PAN, bank account and IFSC, copies of these documents	For your school to approve your joining and pay your salary. Visible only to you, your centre head and your school's super admin
Location at the moment you check in or out	To confirm you are at your centre. Location is not tracked at any other time
Attendance, breaks, leave, tasks, salary and payslips	To run the school's daily work and payroll. Salary is visible only to you and the super admin
Photos, videos and files you upload (work proofs, bills, complaints, media)	For the purpose you upload them. Work-proof photos are deleted once the work is approved
Children's details entered by staff (name, date of birth, class, parents' names and phone numbers, address, blood group, allergies, attendance)	For the school to care for and contact the families of its children

We do not sell data, show ads, or use data for anything other than running the app for your school.

Enquiries from the school's website

When a parent fills the enquiry or "book a school visit" form on the school's website, the school receives: the parent's name and mobile number, the child's name and date of birth, the branch, the school year and board or medium, any comments, and the visit time chosen. This is used only for the school's admission follow-up: to call or message the parent and to plan the visit. It is stored with the school's other enquiries (see below) and is seen only by the school's staff who handle admissions. The website itself cannot read any data from the app; it only sends the form. To stop being contacted or to have an enquiry deleted, call the school or write to the address above.

Who can see it

Access follows your role in the school (support staff, teacher, centre head, super admin). Complaints are visible to the person handling them; the complainant's name is never shown to the person complained about. We (the app provider) access data only to provide support or when the law requires.

Where it is stored

On Supabase servers in Mumbai, India, encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Payment-gateway keys are stored encrypted and are never shown in the app. Payments are processed by the school's own payment gateway (for example Easebuzz or Razorpay); we never see card or UPI details.

How long we keep it

As long as the school uses the app. When a staff member leaves, their login is closed but the school keeps their work records (attendance, tasks, payslips) as required for its accounts and the law. A school that stops its subscription can ask for its data to be exported and then deleted.

Your choices and deleting your account

Delete your account in the app: Settings → Delete my account. Your login and personal profile are removed at once; your school keeps the work records described above.
Delete your account without the app: email business.satyajeetkatti@gmail.com from your registered email with the subject "Delete my Preschool Desk account". We delete your login and personal profile within 7 days and confirm by email. Work records are kept by your school as described above.
Ask your school's super admin to correct your details, or write to us at the address above.

Children

The app is used only by school staff. Children do not use it. Children's information is entered and controlled by their school.
